*Low voltage protection: At 2.9-3V the light will switch to an emergency low mode. At 2.8V the light will flash 9 times to announce imminent cut-off.

(To calculate expected run time for the light on high mode, divide the milliamp capacity of the battery you will be using by the current of the driver (amps), and then take 80% of that value for your expected run time. For example, if you ran this light with Panasonic 18650B cells, you're expected run time on High would be 1.7 hours, and considerably more (EG 6-7 hours) on the lower modes.

Budget Light: Ember 502b

We added this host because it has a clip rather than a lanyard, is a time proven rugged body based on the UltraFire 502B host, takes P60 drop-in modules, and 18650 batteries. This means that you can have a delection of P60 drop in modules with different tints and reflectors and switch them in and out of the flashlight body. That would save a lot of room and space for various applications, especially backcountry multi day trips.

The switch is reverse clicky and does not tail stand.
